Parrot Color Separation

Designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

This project involved creating four-color CMYK halftone separations for screen printing. I selected a high-resolution parrot photograph, corrected its color space for CMYK output, optimized it for screen resolution, and separated the image into individual process color channels. Each channel was assigned custom halftone settings to accurately simulate four-color process printing while minimizing moiré and artifacts. The final output included registered color separations, laser-printed positives, and a combined preview image for production reference.

Khonshu T-Shirt

Designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

This project explored the use of halftone techniques to transform a continuous-tone image into a one-color design suitable for screen printing. Using an image of Khonshu, a Marvel character, I converted a color photograph to grayscale and applied custom halftone settings, adjusting dot size, spacing, and angle to achieve a visually balanced and impactful result. The image was optimized for one-color silk-screen printing and heat transfer on a white t-shirt, with added typography to create a cohesive apparel design. The final deliverables included a print-ready PDF and a t-shirt mockup simulating the final printed outcome.
