busiBloom

The busiBloom collaboration was a team-based project in which one teammate and I were tasked with branding and advertising a product for a team from the University of the Pacific’s Engineering Department. The product, called the busiBloom Planter, is an automated watering and fertilizing plant pot.

Website

This image highlights one of my primary roles on the project: designing and developing a fully functional website to advertise and showcase the busiBloom Planter. The website features a hero page, an “Our Story” page, and a detailed product page with a fully functional shopping and cart system (note that purchases cannot actually be completed, as the product is not commercially available). The site also includes shipping and refund policies, as well as terms and conditions, all of which were drafted by me.

Illustrations found on the website were drawn and provided by my teammate.

App

My role in this phase of the collaboration was to design an app that functions as a customer support system. All layouts and interactive prototyping were created using Adobe XD. The app includes a splash screen, as well as pages for the mission statement, product description, and user support.

Instagram Stories

My role in this phase of the project was to design the post layouts and develop the mockups. The overall goal was to create a cohesive form of advertising with a strong online and social media presence.

Packaging

The packaging component of this project was completed entirely by my teammate and included three elements: two box designs to accommodate different sizes of the busiBloom pot, and a protective pot lid designed to prevent dust from entering during transportation. The packaging incorporates key visual elements from the overall brand, including the clock motif and the silhouette of the pot, ensuring consistency and clear brand recognition.
