Max RC

These logos were created for a fictional RC car hobby shop named Max RC. Shown are three logo concepts presented to the client, each developed in both full-color and grayscale variations. The designs were tailored to reflect the shop’s overall aesthetic while capturing the attention of new potential hobbyists and appealing to established RC enthusiasts.

This project focused on the creation of a cohesive symbol system derived from four distinct words: goat, paper plane, Christmas, and splash. Working exclusively in black and white, I designed each symbol to communicate meaning through simplified graphic forms rather than illustration. Emphasis was placed on figure–ground relationships, exploring variations such as figure on ground, figure becoming ground, and all-figure compositions to strengthen visual impact and clarity.
